Akiyoshidai International Art Village. Japan. 2018
‘Akiyoshi Sinella’ is an installation consisting of interactive video projection of a cave with an unreachable end of a path, and a video projected on another side of a room inspired by particle detectors used for visualizing the passage of ionizing radiation (like cloud chamber or bubble chamber). While walking through the space slightly filled with a fog, the size of the exit of a cave adjusted to visitors movement. As a result, the end of the path was getting smaller when one tried to approach it. The title refers to Akiyoshi Sinella – the small creature, seemed almost invisible, transparent, very hard to notice, adapted to live in Akiyoshi Cave.
